Siirt Pistachios

Tufan Organik Siirt Pistachios, part of the Nuts and Nut Products group, are a natural food originating from Gürün/Sivas.
Siirt Pistachios: The Plump Side of Cracking Pleasure
Siirt pistachios are known as a variety with larger kernels than Antep pistachios and a noticeably more open shell. The kernel ranges in color from light green to yellowish, and its taste is mild and rich. Because the shell cracks open easily, it is one of the most popular nuts for tea time and for entertaining guests.
In the Tufan Organik nuts range, Siirt pistachios are offered not only as a snack but also as a product that can be used in dessert and savory recipes. To keep the pistachios fresh, simply store them in a tightly sealed container in a cool, dry place.
Serving Suggestions
- Roasted, served alongside tea and coffee
- Shelled and pounded for use in baklava and kadayif (shredded pastry) desserts
